Feb. 14, 2012 — At 249-37 61st Ave. and 252-65 63rd Ave., two garden apartment buildings in the sprawling 69-building, 1,398-unit Deepdale Gardens co-op in Northeast Queens, green space is abundant. Storage space, on the other hand – that recently got a boost in the form of 14 new steel lockers.

  • Cost: $0
  • Installed 14 fully enclosed, corrugated-steel, custom built storage units
  • Bargold absorbs the cost of the installation, which also includes painting and the installation of lighting fixtures in the storage area, at a value of $3,000 per unit plus the painting and electrical fixtures installation costs
  • Bargold rents the units directly to the tenants and pays the building 25% of the gross receipts
