Correction: December Story "Condo Catch-22": Devonshire House Sales Good

Nov. 30, 2009 — Since the December issue went to press, the Devonshire House condominium in Greenwich Village has experienced robust sales despite the mortgage Catch-22 that is bedeviling many of the city's condos. Of the 45 refurbished apartments in Devonshire House, 11 are in contract, of which 3 will be obtaining bank financing. Five more contracts are out for signature, according to the building's developer, Jenifer Steig of the Cheshire Group. "I'm really happy with where we are today," Steig says.
