Witt Industries' fiberglass recycling containers, being fiberglass, won't rust, stain or tarnish. And they're hygienic, in that there are no exposed seams, welds, fasteners or crevices where dirt can collect. They come in 30 standard colors, with six optional gloss or matte finishes and textures. The line of containers sampled in the photo above includes 21- and 25-gallon bins for metal cans, paper or glass, as well as combination containers of various size.
Pictured here, left to right, are the model 11R-481631 combo bin, which weights 95 pounds and measures 48" x 16" x 31" high; the 25-gallon 11R-1831P paper-recycling container, weighing 30 pounds and measuring 18" diameter x 31" high; and the 21-gallon 11R-1630C can-recycling container, measuring 16" diameter x 30" high.
We're assuming they're of very good quality since Witt is a 123-year-old waste receptacle manufacturer whose founder, George Witt, invented and patented the first corrugated, galvanized ash can and lid in 1899, the company says. Imagine that! Witt Industries is now part of the Ohio-based Armor Group and — and here's something new — is a Certified Woman Owned corporation, whose distaff ownership is verified by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council in Washington, D.C. And with all due respect to guys, if a company that makes trash receptacles is woman-owned, well, how neat is that?
