Shop-Vac Hang On Portable Vacuum Cleaner

The wet / dry Model 201-24-00 has a 1.5 peak horsepower engine and 1.5 gallon tank, and comes with a four-foot hose, a wall-mounting bracket and two accessories with irresistible names, whatever they are: a gulper nozzle and a crevice tool. Actually, we kid: The cylinder in the lower left of the photo above is the crevice tool, for getting into corners and edges, and the gulper nozzle is the part just above that. We have no idea what that little thing in the middle is.

The hand-held vacuum comes with a reusable filter with a mounting ring, and a foam sleeve. It's got a six-foot electrical cord, a two-year warranty, and ,according to the company, at least — and Shop-Vac is the venerable, 40-year-old major name in the industrial wet / dry vacuum field — the operation sound level is rated "extra quiet." Hey, that's what spec sheet says....

The list price is $64.95, but you can find it online for under $40. And in all seriousness, there's time and productivity optimizing to be had in your staff being able to grab a lightweight portable vac rather than breaking out the big heavy one from its locked storage area every time there's a spill on the lobby carpet.
