3M Easy Scrub Flat Mop
We've all heard of the 3Rs, reading, writing and 'rithmatic (that last of which sort of puts to lie the first two; we've never quite gotten the point of that). Now you can introduce your building's porters to the 3M — which used to stand for Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing and now stand for More Miraculous Mopping. At least to us — and maybe to you, too, once you see that the Easy Scrub Flat Mop offers the first and maybe only technological innovation to mops since, well, ever: It does away with buckets! And if you've ever had to haul a heavy, grimy slop bucket, you'll appreciate the convenience.

The mops, which come in a multitude of sizes, increase performance by reducing mop drag up to 10 times and make mopping up to three times faster, according to the company, which also claims that its "mop system" (if you please) cuts chemical waste "by as much as 80%." Even allowing for hyperbole, we figure there's something to it since you're actually filling the mop's handle with cleaning fluid and pressing a button on the handle to dispense only as much liquid as you need. Whatever you don't use can stay in the handle or in the "buddy jug" (so help us, that's what it's called) for next time. (See below).
Your staff's potential time and energy savings can be then be applied to all those other little jobs that need doing around your building. And just think: You'll give your porters high-tech bragging rights over all those other, deprived porters who aren't on the cutting edge of 21st-century mop technology.
