JR Builders is installing a new cold fluid-applied insulated roofing system and parapet wall braces, sheathing, and coping covers at Building Clusters 10 through 13. In addition, future work planned will include replacement of underground sanitary and storm-water-piping mains, water-main inlet connections, curb-valve service boxes, and street pavement and concrete sidewalks. Rand Engineering & Architecture prepared the construction documents, obtained the Department of Buildings work permit, and is providing construction administration. Rand's Bill Varney is the project architect. Avi Slansky of The Wavecrest Management Team and board member Robert L. Wheeler are overseeing the $1,183,000 project, which began in September 2007. The roofing phase is scheduled for completion in Spring 2008.
