...Basonas Construction is installing a new reinforced, cold fluid-applied roofing system and counterflashing and a new concrete-paving system and privacy fences; replacing brickwork; re-pointing mortar joints; replacing and refurbishing continuous shelf angles; and refurbishing bulkhead windows. Rand Engineering & Architecture prepared the construction documents, obtained the work permits from the Department of Buildings and the Landmarks Preservation Commission, and is providing construction administration. Rand’s Vivek Patel is the project engineer. Robert Grant of Midboro Management is overseeing the $446,000 project, which began in August 2007 and is scheduled for completion February 2008.
