...Local Law 11/98 repair program. Poler Contracting of Brooklyn replaced deteriorated brickwork and re-pointed mortar joints, repaired decorative stonework, rebuilt parapet walls, replaced the defective window lintels and the cast-stone windowsills, repaired and replaced cornice segments, replaced camelback coping segments, and refurbished exposed metalwork. Rand Engineering & Architecture prepared the construction documents, obtained the Department of Buildings work permit, and provided construction administration. Rand’s Lynne Funk was the project architect. Ruth Shoenthal of General Property Management Associates and Board President Warren Davis oversaw the $310,000 project, which began in July 2007 and was completed in December 2007.
