Hi-Rise Laundry installed a new vinyl-composite tile floor; replaced all the coin-activated laundry equipment with energy-efficient, smart card-activated laundry equipment; painted the walls and ceiling; installed new and additional light fixtures; installed a sprinkler system; and furnished the facility with seating, new Formica folding tables and laundry carts with permanent-press racks. Andrew Fisher of Hi-Rise oversaw the project, which took five days to complete in January 2008. (Habitat May 2008)
