Dur-A-Flex Hybri-Flex Flooring

The Hybri-Flex flooring line from the more than four-decade-old Dur-A-Flex — a Connecticut manufacturer of commercial and industrial flooring systems, polymer components, colored quartz aggregates (as in the sample above) and related products — fulfills all those requirements. Available in seven models — Hybri-Flex MC, MQ, MB, AC, AQ and EB — the line offers two types of thicknesses and a variety of respective attributes, making them cost-effective for different areas with different types of traffic, uses and environmental factors.

They're "hybrids" in that the MC, MQ and MB models consist of a moisture-tolerant urethane base coat and fast-curing methyl methacrylate (MMA) topcoats; the AC and AQ models combine that urethane base with a polyaspartic topcoat, referring to a chemical compound with remarkable properties that only recently began to be used in flooring; and EB, which blends that urethane base with epoxy and urethane topcoats. The flooring installs in as few as two days.

They're all OSHA- and ADA-compliant, contribute to LEED certification and come in solid colors, decorative patterns and customized colors and designs. So if you can talk the talk, you'll be able to walk the walk. And if the image at right is any indication, you'll be able to drive the driveway, too.
